После декриминализации знаменитой "Ямы" (по крайней мере, по сравнению с 90-ми и началом 00-х годов), этот район превратился в своеобразную тихую заводь. С одной стороны, всё ещё маячит здесь тень былой репутации, с другой - вроде и ходить сюда посторонним особо не зачем, кроме жилого сектора тут, по большему счёту, ничего и нет. Но совсем отгородиться от внешней жизни "Яме" не удаётся - всё ближе подступают к ней новостройки.
After the decriminalization of the famous "The Pit" (at least compared to the 90s and the beginning of the 00s), this area turned into a kind of quiet backwater. On the one hand, the shadow of the former reputation still looms here, on the other - it seems that there’s really no reason for outsiders to walk here, by and large, there is nothing here, except for the residential sector. But “The Pit” doesn't succeed in completely isolating itself from the outside life - new buildings are crawling closer and closer to it from all sides.
